Ever since my 10th birthday, life has gone severely downhill. I mean, it’s hard to go upwards when you started off as a 12/10 like I did. With my designer hexagon glasses, chicken little legs and what can only be described as “party in the front, business in the back” hairstyle, it’s safe to say that you’re looking at me in my peak.
In the years that followed, I experienced many different style changes- mainly involving trying to find something that I could do with my hair to avoid looking super dust. Ironically enough, I ended up making myself look more dust. The many looks I experimented with included tarzan-esque shoulder-length hair, hair so thick that it would be dry at all times- including in the pool, and the classic Justin Bieber swoop. After finally figuring out that long hair isn’t my look and being unable the replicate the perfection of my previous hair, I had to try and update my clothing choices. Shockingly, after looking back on my elementary school clothes, I’m pretty sure I wear very similar clothes still. I literally wore a slightly bigger pair of those green shorts just last week.
The biggest transformation between 10 year old Jacob and modern-day Jacob is the lack of glasses, which was strictly a comfort decision and not even a stylistic one. Looking back, I must say that younger Jacob had it going on, and I have a bit of work to get back to that level again.
