We interviewed Caroline Witzel (COMM 2020) about how she transformed her student life. The video above is a summary, see below for the interview:
How have you transformed your student life at Queen’s since first year?
Q: What tips do you have for your social life?
A: "I don’t feel pressured to go out, people only talk about the times they do go out but if you need to rest, don’t be afraid to do so! Even if you are feeling really stressed, don’t isolate yourself, schedule hangouts with your friends or make a meal with your housemates."
Q: How do you balance your academics?
A: "Keep a planner! You might not have needed it in high-school but it’s really useful now. It keeps you accountable. Also, marks are not everything, join extracurriculars and get involved!"
Q: Do you exercise?
A: "I try to go to the gym at least 4 times a week. Exercising is a great way to de-stress mentally! I know there’s lots of classes offered at the arc. In the long run, it will make you more productive."
